The Rundown

Our task is to design and build a functional robot that can complete this years assigned task. Below you can see the layout of the arena, which is basically a ladder stretched across two white walls. At competition, those walls will be clear, and our team drivers will stand behind them. From this spot will control the robot on the playing field, which stretches between the two walls. Basically, the task is to move a large blue ball (which also can be seen below) off of the top of the ladder, and run laps around the arena with it. Every time the robot crosses under the ladder, it must move the ball over it and catch it again on the other side. You get points for taking the ball down, along with points for making laps.
