The Mechanization
Our immediate goals for the robot include it being fast, nimble, and easy to handle. Long-term goals include designing an efficient way to get the blue ball off of the monkey bars, designing a way to catch and hold onto the ball, and making sure that the ball cannot be taken from us. We also want a powerful robot, that can hold up in rough competition. Our early ideas of a four-wheel drive robot were dashed, as the robot must have the ability to turn extremely quickly. |
