The Shawnee Regional Center of the Oklahoma School of Science and Math is a satallite campus of the main campus in downtown Oklahoma City. We provide high school students the opportunity to take AP Calculus and Physics from OSSM while still being students at their regular high school. The students spend half the day at our Shawnee campus and the rest of their day at their regular high school. This enables them to maintain their extracurricular, sports, and social activities while challenging themselves academically.

The rewards are numerous:

• Earning college credit through the AP Exams (100% pass rate in 2008)
• Increase in ACT Scores
• Gaining study skills to help prepare for college
• Exposure to classes run at the college level
• Classes with their academic peers
• Prestige of OSSM name on transcript
